![]() Most people tend to plan on Komoot but track on Strava. However it does have its own route-making software for walks, runs and rides. Strava is equally prolific in the cycling and running communities, mostly as a place to track your rides and runs and keep an eye on PBs and average speeds. After you finish your ride or walk, Komoot then gives you stats on how far you went, your average speed and elevation. It is hugely popular with cyclists as it has three sections for this: road cycling (fast, on main roads), touring (more scenic using cycle paths and gravel where possible) and mountain biking. Red circles on the map show highlights plotted by Komoot users so you can choose to incorporate these into your own plan too. You tell it where you want to start and end, or if it's a round trip, and then Komoot pulls the best route based on the data it has from fellow walkers and cyclists. Komoot is the leader in the pack and can do it all. ![]()
